Once again I apologize for the delay in getting Issue # 50 to you - and I also feel a need to offer up an apology for its quality.
I had accepted David's invitation to come back and do the milestone fiftieth issue release and I have found that time at home and work did (and truthfully, the excitement of doing the layout and writing) not allow for much care to be put into this issue.
This said, I believe that you will still find the contents useful for your games, but it does not contain the care that I put in to the first 4 years of issues that I put together.
So to all of the Hall of Fire readers, I am sorry, but I thank you for your years of contributions and interest in this webzine!
To Micah and the new team of Hall of Fire publishers, I wish you good luck and many more years of great releases!

HOF status
Hi to the HALL OF FIRE team.
What happen with the release, i think it's the first time we have a "coming soon" date. I have seen that less people look the last 2 issue, the last one was realy nice, but realy small too.
What is the status of hall of fire? What will happen in the furure, can we get more issue after 50? Do you need help to create content. It would be nice to know what's the problem with HOF so that people than want to be involve can give some help.
I know how real life can remove all free time, myself include, I just want to know what we(everyone that use HOF) can do to help you get back to the montly release.

I can not address what is going on with Issue 50, as it is the last issue being produced by the current editors of Hall of Fire. I know that they are all very busy and that is, at least in part, the reason why they are stepping down.
What I can address is Issue 51 and beyond. Myself and two others are taking the reins of Hall of Fire starting with that issue. We are planning on publishing monthly issues for as long as there is content. To answer your question concerning the amount of content, we will take all the help we can get. Over the last few years, there seems to fewer and fewer people sending content in to be published. I encourage anyone that has an idea for The Lord of the Rings RPG to write it up and send it in. This includes articles, of course, but also character write-ups, fan art, even poetry or humor. We would like to increase the number of articles in each issue, but we are going to need the readers to help us with that.
I am looking forward to reading through Issue 50, as well as helping to publish Issue 51 and beyond.

Am happy to see that HOF will continue.
In my group we have modifyied the base system alot, I will try to make a compilation of the major rules during the next month.
My first language is frendh so my writting may need some revision for spelling.
If I can help HOF to stay alive, I will be happy to do it.

Hi..this is officially my first post and I would just like to say that HOF is the best supplemental help for me in my chronicle. I have only one question, can ANYONE send in something to HOF editors? I have lots of new item, weapons, spells, mini-adventures and things of that sort. So can I send in my ideas and aid in the continuation of the greatest LOTR fan webzine?

The answer is yes. Anyone that has an idea that they think would make a good article in Hall of Fire should send it in. Now you may have a new question, where am I suppose to send it to? The answer to that is submissions@halloffire.org (this is a new address). We look forward to seeing any new content that people wish to submit.

Hey All,
Hall of Fire #50 is still in the works... I know, I know! I said I'd have it out last week. But, I am in the midst of writing an article for it and the layout.
This said, assume that issue 50 is for June 2008, and Micah and his team will be taking over full time for the July release forward.
Thanks for all of your support and love for our zine. It has truly been great doing it. Anyway, keep your eyes out here... I promise it will be released very, very soon.
